Urban landscape painter, Jenny Parsons, was born and raised in Durban where she
studied fine art, majoring in painting. She moved to the Cape in her early twenties
and has lived in both Cape Town and the Swartland since then.
Jenny is a passionate hiker and she spends much of her time hiking the trails of
South Africa.
“Some of my happiest times are spent hiking. When on the trail, the deep
immersion in nature heightens my senses. I start to “see” the landscape.”
Jenny currently lives in Cape Town, working from her Woodstock studio.
