About Me:
Born in Speyer, Germany in 1965, I have nurtured my passion for art across two continents, ultimately settling in the scenic town of George along the Garden Route, South Africa. My artistic journey is driven by a fascination with the interaction of light and colour, discovering beauty in life's everyday moments.
Professional Background:
In 2002, my husband, Leander Brand, and I co-founded Cape Palette Art Gallery. Here, I exhibit my own work and share the joy of painting through personalized classes for adults. While oil paint is my medium of choice, I occasionally explore other materials to broaden my creative expression.
Artistic Approach:
My still-life paintings are inspired by my surroundings and personal experiences. I focus on everyday objects and infuse them with texture and luminosity to reveal their inherent beauty.

Since 2000, I have participated in numerous exhibitions at galleries and festivals, showcasing my evolving work to both local and international audiences.
